A WILDLIFE park is up for sale for £1.5million — complete with lemurs, meerkats, llamas, cattle and much more.
The 131-acre Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, near Comrie, Perthshire, also has a coffee shop, indoor and outdoor play areas and a stone built five-bed farmhouse.
Four bait and fly-fishing ponds are stocked with rainbow trout from Easter until October.
It has been run by the same family for a decade and welcomes 60,000 visitors a year.
Owner Andrew Scott said it was time to retire and “pass on Auchingarrich”.
He added: “It represents the perfect work-life balance and fitted in with our outdoor lifestyle.”
Vikki Bennett, spokesperson for OnTheMarket, said: “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to run a business and also to enjoy the lifestyle on offer in a beautiful part of the country.”
Harry Stott of Commercial Property, who is handling the sale for Galbraith, said: “The Torlum Coffee Shop is available for private hire for evening events or small intimate weddings, adding another business income.
“We also believe there are good prospects of further diversification on the park in the form of developing self-catering accommodation on-site, such as chalets or glamping pods, subject to obtaining the necessary consents.”
