Chelsea vs Man Utd: Is the game at risk of being called off?
The Premier League will be keeping a close eye on Storm Dennis this weekend. The cyclone follows Storm Ciara which caused numerous sporting events to be called of, including the top-flight clash between Manchester City and West Ham.
This weekend, the Met Office says there will be “heavy rain and widespread strong winds to many parts of the UK” as a result of Storm Dennis.
A yellow weather warning is in place for wind and rain in London.
The forecaster’s chief meteorologist, Paul Gundersen, said: Another spell of very wet and windy weather is expected for Saturday.
“Although Storm Dennis is currently not expected to be as severe as Ciara, disruption is still likely.

The Met Office’s weather warnings for rain and wind are in place until 9pm and midnight on Sunday respectively.
The outlook for Monday reads: “Drier on Monday though remaining windy, with sunny spells and isolated blustery showers.”
Chelsea, fourth in the table, sit six points ahead of eighth-placed United.
The Red Devils beat Chelsea 4-0 on the Premier League’s opening weekend and also secured a win at Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup’s last 16.
But Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas reckons the Blues will come out on top this time around.
“Manchester United will have got some of their players fit during the break. They were excellent when they went to Manchester City twice, but they are showing no consistency,” Nicholas said.
“This is why people are still backing, and hoping for, Mauricio Pochettino to come in.
“I do think Chelsea will have enough, but they will need to focus on getting their style right and doing the basics effectively.”
