Pink roasts Donald Trump over low attendance at Tulsa rally

Pink couldn’t resist trolling President Donald Trump during his much-anticipated rally in Tulsa, which failed to bring in the big numbers he had boasted about earlier in the week.

The What About Us singer tuned into the campaign event on Saturday (20 June), which saw Trump deliver a two-hour speech at Tulsa’s Bank of Oklahoma Center.

However, it appeared that the President struggled to fill seats at the 19,000-capacity arena, despite boasting just days ago that almost a million people had requested tickets. In reality, the rally suffered poor attendance and plans for an outside ‘overflow’ area were scrapped.

Alongside a video of CNN’s coverage of the rally, Pink tweeted: ‘I think I sold that same place out in five minutes #donkeyshow.’

In the video, she’s heard quipping: ‘I don’t know, there’s a lot of people dressed as seats. Maybe they’re in catering.’

Of course, Pink had many fans in her corner with one replying: ‘Pink owning Trump is what I live for.’

‘Pink is just savage & I love her,’ another chimed in, while one stated: ‘@Pink is a national treasure and I will fight anyone that says otherwise!’

However, others defended Trump and pointed out that it’s probably a little difficult to fill out a large venue at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic keeping most inside.

‘Try selling it out now,and see what happens. I’m testing a theory,’ one stated.

Another challenged: ‘Did you sell it out during a pandemic though? That’s the real question.’

‘Pink, I love you but maybe stay out of politics,’ another pleaded.

However, the Just Give Me A Reason singer hit back: ‘Here’s my theory; don’t hurt the people that love you. I would never ask people to come to an arena right now. No good person would.’

Earlier this month, Pink branded Trump ‘a coward and a racist’ after he retreated to his White House bunker during the Black Lives Matter protests.

‘You’re a coward and a racist and just like everything else you’ve ever attempted in your life, A COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE,’ she furiously tweeted.

‘Can’t wait to vote you out in November. Maybe you’ll see the results from your baby bunker.’

After receiving backlash from Trump supporters, the pop star later added: ‘It’s insane to me how many people think I will be upset about racists unfollowing me. You don’t really even need to announce your exit. You have my blessing. Go. Go now. One quick push of a button and you don’t have to look in the mirror or confront who you really are.’
